My Favorite Time of Year

Fall is my favorite time of year.

Pumpkin Bread and Pie.
Changing Leaves.
Sweater, Scarves, and Boots.
Family.

And the list goes on and on. I also love the holidays in the fall. I love Halloween time when all the churches have fall festivals and little kids are all dressed up in cute costumes, running around with a big smile and a bag full of candy.

This year it came and went.

No fall festivals.
No kids dressed up looking for candy.

It made me sad I couldn't dress Noah up in some cute little outfit and take him out. But you know what made me even more sad? There was not a harvest festival to go to here. And although it would have been fun...not having the actual event didn't make me sad. What made me sad was the fact that there could not be a large harvest festival here...especially several to chose from. And you know why? Because there are very few churches here, and the churches that are here are very small. Japan needs Christ. The people here need to know Him.

During this time of year, as you go to the many events that happen at your church, please pray for the people here...that they may know Him...that one day maybe there will be enough people here that know Christ to do a ministry like the Fall Festival.

Thank you for your prayers.
